Once upon a time you used to have to decide between style and function. Silent Gliss put an end to that with the Metropole range. The combination of the nylon glider, symmetrical pole style and finial options now means you have a wider choice than your standard pole with rings or a plain white track. Available in 15 different colours the 6130 Metropole is the leading range for poles with gliders. Colours like Anodic Grey and Slate Grey are excellent choices for modern interiors, and very unique to Silent Gliss.

Have you stood in front of a multi angled bay window or a large bi-fold door whilst your customer is telling you how much they like eyelet curtains, whilst thinking “how am I going to make eyelet curtains work on that?”. As we know eyelet curtains do not pass brackets, large windows and bay windows need more brackets, therefore eyelet curtains are a nightmare. But wait, how about Wave? A curtain heading that is minimal and without the frills like the eyelet but hangs under the pole allowing for multiple brackets and top fixing flush to a ceiling. Wave is exceptionally good as an alternative to eyelet curtains, and looks very sleek and stylish.

To sum up, Metropoles are especially good for bay windows, as the gliders run freely past the brackets. They are also extremely quiet. If your curtains are very large or heavy, Metropole works smoothly and can have a roller glider added. If you want minimal sleek curtains without any frills, Metropole can use the Wave curtain.
