The Silent Gliss 3000 Corded Curtain Track is widely regarded as one of the best corded metal curtain track systems for medium weight curtains.

Designed for smooth and reliable operation, the 3000 combines precision engineering with flexible installation options, making it suitable for both straight and curved window applications. The track can be professionally bent in our factory by trained engineers to suit bay windows, reverse bends and curved installations, with a minimum bend radius of 100mm.

Suitable for both ceiling fixing and wall fixing, the Silent Gliss 3000 offers a versatile solution for residential and commercial installations alike. The system is capable of carrying curtain weights up to 15kg, although weight capacity may vary depending on the shape and complexity of the bend.

One of the key features of the Silent Gliss 3000 is its separate internal cording channels. This design helps keep the cords securely within the mechanism, preventing them from falling out of the track and helping provide smoother curtain operation over time.

The system is also supplied with a metal overlap arm as standard, helping reduce light gaps where the curtains meet by bridging the centre overlap more effectively than traditional nylon overlap arms.

For tracks over 275cm in length, bay window applications, or situations where curtains stack unevenly, an intermediate pulley is recommended. This allows the track to be corded on both sides, helping improve curtain balance and operation.

Tracks are custom made to your exact measurements and supplied fully assembled with compatible brackets and gliders.

Professionally manufactured with excellent craftsmanship and precision bending services.

FAQs

1. What makes the Silent Gliss 3000 suitable for bay windows?

The Silent Gliss 3000 can be professionally bent to a minimum radius of 100mm, making it ideal for bay windows and curved applications. Our engineers precisely bend the track to suit your window shape for smooth and reliable operation.

2. How much curtain weight can the Silent Gliss 3000 support?

The 3000 track can support curtain weights up to 15kg, although this may vary depending on the shape and complexity of the installation.

3. What fixing options are available?

The track can be face fixed to a wall or top fixed to a ceiling using compatible Silent Gliss brackets.

4. Why are separate cording channels beneficial?

Separate cording channels keep the cords securely within the mechanism, helping prevent them from falling out and ensuring smoother curtain operation.

5. What does the metal overlap arm do?

The metal overlap arm bridges the meeting point between the curtains, helping reduce light gaps when the curtains are closed.

6. Why choose a corded curtain track instead of hand drawn curtains?

Corded curtain tracks help reduce handling of the curtain fabric, minimising wear and marking over time. They are also particularly useful for bay windows or installations where furniture may obstruct direct curtain access.

7. When is an intermediate pulley recommended?

An intermediate pulley is recommended for tracks over 275cm long, bent tracks, or where curtain stack widths are uneven. It allows the track to be corded on both sides for smoother and more balanced operation.

8. Can the Silent Gliss 3000 be bent by hand?

No. The track must be professionally bent using specialist tooling to ensure accurate shaping and smooth operation.
