Designed for light to medium weight curtains up to 25kg, the 5100R allows you to operate your curtains effortlessly using the supplied handheld radio remote control. Whether opening curtains from the comfort of your sofa or controlling hard-to-reach windows, the 5100R provides smooth, reliable and quiet curtain movement at the touch of a button.

Unlike infrared systems, the Silent Gliss 5100R uses radio frequency control, allowing signals to travel greater distances without requiring direct line-of-sight to the motor. The radio receiver is fully integrated within the motor itself, eliminating the need for visible external receivers or sensors and maintaining a neat, streamlined appearance.

The system operates using a belt-driven motor mechanism, widely regarded as the most reliable and efficient form of electric curtain operation. The motor drives an internal toothed belt within the track, delivering exceptionally smooth movement alongside soft start and soft close functionality which gently slows the curtains as they open and close.

Like all models within the Silent Gliss 5100 Autoglide range, the 5100R includes “touch and go” functionality. If the curtains are gently pulled by hand, the motor automatically takes over operation and completes the movement. In the event of a power failure, the manual override feature also allows the curtains to continue being operated by hand without damaging the mechanism.
