The Silent Gliss 5600 electric curtain track is a high-performance, made-to-measure system designed for smooth, reliable operation across a wide range of residential and commercial applications.

Renowned for its extremely quiet operation, the 5600 combines a specially treated track profile, precision roller gliders, and a brushless motor to deliver consistent and near-silent movement. This makes it particularly suitable for environments where minimal noise is essential.

The system is capable of supporting curtain weights of up to 65kg and can be manufactured in lengths of up to 15 metres as standard, with longer lengths available on application. This makes it well suited to wide windows, large spans, and more demanding installations.

A key feature of the 5600 system is its “Touch & Go” functionality, allowing the curtain to be gently pulled by hand to activate the motor. In addition, a manual override ensures the curtain can still be operated with minimal effort in the event of a power interruption.

Curtain travel speed is set at approximately 21cm per second, with the option to reduce to 15cm per second where a slower operation is preferred.

The system supports multiple control methods, including mains switching, low voltage inputs, volt-free switching, and optional radio control integration. It is powered by a 100–250V AC motor, with a 24V DC option available depending on specification.

Designed for flexibility, the SG5600 can be installed using a variety of fixing methods including ceiling fix, wall fix, and recessed installations. It can also be fixed directly through the track where required.

For more complex window layouts, the system can be manufactured with precision bends using our professional bending services, ensuring accurate shaping for bay windows, curved applications, and bespoke installations. All systems are produced with excellent craftsmanship to ensure a consistent, high-quality finish.

The Silent Gliss 5600 system is designed as a hardwired installation and must be connected to the mains supply via a fused spur or fixed connection. As such, installation is typically carried out by a qualified electrician, particularly where integration with control systems or building wiring is required. The system can be configured to work with a range of control methods including mains switching, low voltage inputs, volt-free contacts, and radio control (where specified). While the track is supplied fully assembled and made to measure, careful consideration should be given to cable routing and access during the planning stage, especially for recessed or concealed installations.

Each system is supplied fully assembled and made to measure, ensuring efficient installation and reliable long-term performance.
