The Silent Gliss 1280 Uncorded Metal Curtain Track is one of the leading hand drawn curtain track systems for heavyweight curtains and demanding installations.

Engineered specifically to provide exceptionally smooth curtain movement, the 1280 features Silent Gliss roller glider technology which significantly reduces friction during operation. Unlike standard gliders that slide along the track, the roller gliders use integrated wheels positioned at the front edge of the profile, allowing curtains to move smoothly and effortlessly even when carrying heavy fabrics or long curtain drops.

This innovative design also helps minimise dust build-up within the running channel, supporting long-term smooth operation and reduced maintenance.

Despite its impressive strength, the Silent Gliss 1280 maintains a slim and discreet profile measuring just 17mm deep, making it ideal for installations where space is limited, including low ceilings, narrow recesses and bi-fold door arrangements.The track is suitable for both ceiling fixing and wall fixing using compatible Silent Gliss brackets. It also shares bracket compatibility with other Silent Gliss systems

including the 1080, 3000 and 3900 tracks, making it a practical upgrade option for existing installations.

For bay windows and curved applications, the Silent Gliss 1280 can be professionally bent in our factory by trained engineers using specialist tooling. The track can be shaped to a minimum bend radius of 150mm and is suitable for reverse bends, curved windows and semi-circular layouts. Our professional bending services and excellent craftsmanship ensure smooth operation and accurate shaping across even complex installations.

The Silent Gliss 1280 is not compatible with wave curtain headings. For wave curtain applications, the Silent Gliss 6840 or 6870 systems are recommended.
